Education Endowment Fund

Sustaining the Future

The Holocaust Education Resource Council (HERC) is very excited to introduce one of the most important components for an organization’s future sustainability: our Endowment Fund.  This Education Endowment was created to be a vehicle to not only support HERC’s mission, but also to ensure its continuity for years to come.

What is an Endowment Fund?
An endowment fund is established as a simple and effective way to create a permanent source of capital to provide future financial support for the organization.  HERC has secured the Community Foundation of North Florida (CFNF) as the Endowment facilitator to ensure that any gifts to the Education Endowment fund are primarily invested for long-term growth through a diversified and monitored financial portfolio.

Why donate to HERC’s Endowment Fund?
As a donor, your support is vital to HERC’s immediate and long-term success.  When the Endowment grows each year, a portion of the Education Endowment Fund will be distributed back to HERC for ongoing projects for teachers while the principle balance remains untouched to grow over time.

Below are some instructions for how to get involved  for digital contributions.

  • Contribution check payable to the Holocaust Education Resource Council (Mailing address: PO Box 16282 Tallahassee, FL 32317) HERC will, in turn, remit those funds to the Community Foundation.
  • Contribution check directly to the Community Foundation of North Florida (which can be mailed to: 3600 Maclay Blvd. S Tallahassee, FL 32312), identified as a contribution to the Holocaust Education Resource Council.
  • Contribute online by clicking the button below:
